The annual sport tournament, which was jointly organized by the Sports Union and the Sport department, that started on 14 May 2024, with more than 50 teams, has come to close. There were 32 football teams, 16 netball teams, the rest were chess and e-sport teams. On 24 May 2024, Waterfront FC, beat Ubombo FC 2-1 in the final. The losing semi-finalists were 537 Smith Street FC, and Urban Life FC. The netball winners were Waterfront, after beating Main Campus 38-25. The semi-finalists were Clearance and Plaza Lodge. The winners received trophies and medals for their toils.
Bongile Ganyile, Sports Officer, said the primary aim of the tournament was to promote active engagement in sporting activities among the University students. The event was well attended.
