As part of ongoing efforts to innovate and refresh the MUT Radio content, the management team decided to restructure the radio line-up. Slindile Ngobese, Programme Manager, said that over the past two years of the radio existence, there was a consistent presence of the same voices on air, “and we believe it is time to infuse our station with a new sound and energy,” Ngobese said.
Ngobese continued: “Moreover, this reshuffle allows our radio DJs an opportunity to showcase their versatility and adaptability across different time slots and programmes. By encouraging flexibility among our team members, we aim to enhance the overall quality and diversity of our broadcast.”
Ngobese added that the line-up adjustment would pave the way for the integration of their newest team members, “ensuring that fresh perspectives and talents contribute to our programming”.
The new line-up affects all weekday shows. Ngobese thanked all the listeners for their loyalty and asked them to continue supporting the MUT Radio station.
