The Teaching and Learning Development Centre (TLDC)

is an academic support department whose mandate is to provide academic development services to staff and students at Mangosuthu University of Technology. The terms of reference shown below are an illustration of the academic development services that the TLDC is expected to render.


Technology use in teaching and learning

In order to keep abreast of competitive global higher education environment and remain at the cutting edge of knowledge and skills requirements at a global level, there needs to be an increased use of ICTs at MUT.

First Year Experience

The TLDC has dedicated itself to improving the First Year Experience of all students who enroll at MUT, through guidance, monitoring and programmes implemented to facilitate senior peer leadership i.e. Student Success Mentorship Programme.
