MUT’S Interim Vice-Chancellor convenes a parents’ meeting to discuss her vision on how she will advance the University’s strategy 2026-2030 and stabilise the institution

The Interim Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), Professor Rushiella Songca, is inviting parents and members of the University community and key stakeholders to attend the official launch of the University’s new institutional strategy, IGNITE 2030, which will guide the Institution’s priorities and direction for the period 2026–2030.
The launch will take place as follows:

Venue: MUT’S STUDENTS’ CENTRE
This strategic gathering marks an important milestone for the University as it sets the course for MUT’s institutional focus and strategic priorities over the next five years. The IGNITE 2030 Strategy is expected to provide a clear framework for strengthening the University’s academic mission, advancing institutional growth, and enhancing its contribution to society.
This engagement with parents will provide a two-way interaction on how parents can collaborate with the University to strengthen institutional cohesion and cultivate a shared sense of purpose as the University community works collectively to advance the mandate of MUT.
This gathering will enable parents to reflect on the Institution’s future trajectory and reaffirm a shared commitment to advancing the mission and vision of Mangosuthu University of Technology.
