Student Affairs has taken cognizance of the current registration statistics for FTE (First Time entering students) and has, in consultation with relevant internal stakeholders including members of the First Year Orientation Planning team and Faculty Deans, taken a decision to postpone the commencement of the First Year Orientation Program from Tuesday, 27 January 2026 to 2 February 2026, to allow all first-year students sufficient time to register.
Below are the revised dates:
- Day 1 : (General Orientation) – Tuesday, 3 February 2026 (Seme Hall)
- Day 2 : (General Orientation) – Wednesday, 4 February 2026 (Seme Hall)
- Day 3 : (Faculty Orientation) – Thursday, 5 February 2026
- Day 4 : (Faculty Orientation) – Friday, 6 February 2026
