UNIVERSITY NOTICE
1. Sabotage and Vandalism Warning
The University Protection Services has identified acts of sabotage involving the deliberate
closing of water supply valves and boiler systems on campus. Investigations have confirmed
that these actions are intentional and pose serious threats to campus operations and the
well-being of all students and staff.
We remind everyone that sabotage and vandalism of university property is a serious offence.
Anyone caught or identified will face strict disciplinary action, including possible
suspension, expulsion, and criminal charges.
2. Residence Property Care and Accountability
We are seeing increasing incidents of vandalism within student residences. Moving forward:
• Any damage to residence facilities will result in the entire block being held responsible.
• Students residing in the affected block will be collectively responsible for the repair costs. Should the individual responsible for the damage not come forward, the necessary funds will be debited from the accounts of all students in that block to cover the repairs.
Your safety is our priority. These measures aim to create a safer, more respectful and disciplined campus environment. Protection Services calls on all staff and students to support and comply with these regulations.
Regards,
Protection Services
