Invitation to a Public Lecture by President of California State University Sacramento

The Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Nokuthula Sibiya,  invites staff and students to a public lecture by Dr Luke Wood, President of California State University, Sacramento, USA, to be hosted at the MUT Student Centre on 5 November 2025 at 11h00. Dr Wood is a globally respected advocate for educational equity and student success. His lecture, titled “From Margin to Mainstream: Building Empowered Universities for First Generation Success”, will explore how institutions can better serve first-generation students and create inclusive pathways to academic achievement.
