Vuk’ubangane made people leave the comfort of warm beds

Senior Director: Marketing and Communications, Mbali Mkhize, second from left, with the early morning show team

The MUT Radio Vuk’ubangene team got a shock of their lives after their show finished at 8h00 on the first day when Mrs Mkhize, Senior Director: Marketing & Communications rushed to congratulate them on a job well done. The team had not been aware that MarComms’ management team was in office from 6am listening to the show. Anchored by IntandoyamaNzimase, the show was electric and agenda-setting right on its first day. It set the tone for the whole day and did what the executive really wanted when it was developing MUT Strategy 2025.

One of the questions the executive kept on asking was what makes you leave your bed and come to MUT? Hopefully, MUT Radio is going to be a reminder of this aspiration that MUT 2025 is supposed to fill in.

“You have made me switch from some channels to listen to you,” said Mkhize.
