The Co-operative Education Directorate congratulates the Class of 2022

Here are tips you may use in your journey going forward:

1.As you search for jobs, do not be selective in applying.  Apply for any job for which you meet the requirements.

2.Create a targeted CV for every job that you apply for.  There is no such thing as One-size-fits- all CV.

3.If you need help with updating your CV, contact us and we will gladly review your CV for you.

4.Register your profile on career websites

5.Create a LinkedIn profile and  use it in your networking

Here are tips you may use in your journey going forward:

1.While waiting to be called for an interview:

A) Do anything legal that can keep you busy, like Volunteer. This is experience that you van put on your CV

B )Start a small business or get together with others and develop a co-operative. Who knows, this could be the start of great things

C)Research how and which government agencies assist the youth to start businesses.

D)Enhance your skills. Take advantage of free online training opportunities and enrol yourself.

As the MUT Co-operative Education Directorate, we will be here to help you. Here’s how:

1.We keep a database of graduates seeking work. We forward graduates’ CVs to an employer that requests CVs.  Please Note that we do not find you a job, we only forward your CV

2.We advertise Internship or Job opportunities.  Please LIKE the MUT Co-operative Education Facebook page for these opportunities

3.We run CV Clinics to help you develop an effective CV. Book a session via our Facebook page

4.We host an Annual Careers’ Fair. Keep an eye on our FB page for dates.
