The gesture by the TLDC organisers will never be forgotten by Mr Mike Naidoo, MUT’s first Registrar who served the university for more than three decades; and Mrs Precious Lugayeni, former head of the Department of Economics. Frequently, retirees who served institutions diligently are usually forgotten, but the spirit of gratitude displayed by the TLDC gives hope to many who will retire from MUT that their good work will be remembered, and they will not be forgotten. “We just wanted to say thank you to these veterans as they played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Teaching & Learning Centre as well as in the MUT’s 2011 Institutional Audit”, said, Dr Makua.
