Raising awareness about
COVID-19
Naturally, a time of challenge brings with it confusion, anxiety and uncertainty. These
emotions can prove to be deadly if nothing is done to get things under control. The
emergence of the COVID-19 virus in China’s Wuhan province, and its spread across the
globe, has had many heads spinning, including in South Africa. The country’s higher
education centres, as some of the places that have large numbers of people at one time,
had to act quickly to contain the spread of the virus.
