No water on campus, hygiene is still a priority

Water is made available in the University bathrooms

The executive management’s support of rotating staff during the challenges faced by the University needs to be applauded. This week, the University was reminded that the EMC’s decision to keep staff on a rotational basis is still meant to show that MUT is a caring environment.

Meanwhile, the cleaning staff have emerged as the University’s knights in shining armor. Their efforts need to be applauded during this most difficult time as they keep ablution facilities and kitchens clean. It is not anything that staff members take for granted to still work under conditions whose hygiene is now questionable, given the existing water supply challenges.
