MUT registration to take place online, walk-ins not accepted

Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) is ready to register new students for the 2021 academic year. Registration of new and returning students will commence from 15 to 26 March 2021 online. The University will not accept any walk-in applications or registration.

Deputy Registrar: Academic Administration, Zolisa Gqamane said the university will register all its students online in accordance with the COVID-19 safety protocols. “We decided to take our registration online to avoid having large gatherings of students on campus. We do not entertain any walk-in applications or registrations. Applicants who did not apply are advised to contact the Central Applications Office, which handles applications on behalf of universities in KwaZulu-Natal.”

According to MUT’s revised academic plan, the university is wrapping up the selection of new students which is scheduled to end on Friday.

Lectures will start on 6 April 2020
