MUT Radio staff has taken outside broadcasting to a higher level. On 12 May 2023, Technical Manager, Ntokozo Buthelezi, and DJs Sandiswa Zondi and Sbusiso Lushozi, took a ride with Acting Transport Manager, Khehla Ndlovu in one of the University’s new vehicles, while broadcasting the breakfast show. Buthelezi said this was one of their innovative ideas for the MUT Radio. “We will continue to use new ideas that will enhance our broadcasting,” said Buthelezi. Buthelezi added that they were planning to work with more divisions in the University to highlight what the divisions are doing. “This time we focused on Transport,” said Buthelezi.
