This week, the MarComms team has crafted a programme of delivering a Radio Station to both staff and students seamlessly. The team wants the Radio Station to be a ‘go-to’ medium for staff and students. “We want to give the University community real time news updates and provide the communication solutions to the everyone. We had to dedicate two full days to identify any gaps that might hinder the launch of the station”, the team said. During various simulations among students, there were recurring topics that would need to be tackled by various departments and faculties in various shows. Top on the list is the issue of depression. The MarComms team has been astounded by the level of the students’ understanding how the fourth estate operates.
