As MUT wraps up the 2022 academic calendar, the university has already cast its eyes on the year to come. The University has already started testing its integrated registration systems,
Zolisa Gqamane, Deputy Registrar: Academic Affairs at MUT, said the university was doing its final readiness inspection to ensure a smooth acceptance of new and returning students.
“Our plan is to ensure that when it is time to register, our students can complete most of the process from their homes to eliminate unnecessary queues at the University,” said Gqamane. “This way we can also reduce any chances of our students travelling unnecessarily to the University.”
New students are scheduled to register from 30 January to 5 February 2022, while returning students will register from 6 – 10 February 2022.
Gqamane also cautioned potential students to be vigilant of potential scammers who prey on unsuspecting students under the pretense of securing space at the university.
“MUT does not accept walk-in applications under any circumstances, and neither does the University accept payment through any intermediaries. We are urging all potential students to visit the MUT website for reliable registration information,” explained Gqamane.
