Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) commenced with its final exams this week as the University is on course to complete its 2021 academic calendar, which started late due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Commenting on progress with the examination, Zolisa Gqamane, Deputy Registrar: Academic Administration said the University was taking all the necessary COVID-19 precautions to keep both its students and staff safe. So far, added Gqamane, exams have continued without any interruptions.
“I want to take my hat off for our students for their ability to adapt to what the past two years have thrown at them,” said Gqamane. “It is unfortunate that these disruptions are the only experience of University life for students who joined the University for the first time in 2020.”
Meanwhile, MUT is also preparing to register both new and return students from 14-25 February 2022.
The University is all set to commence 2022 from 28 February 2022. The University’s state of readiness is best articulated through its Almanac, which is available on the MUT website under Quick Links.
