Chemistry senior lecturer scoops Best Established Teacher Gold Award

Dr Lindelani Qwabe, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Analytical Chemistry at MUT, walked away from this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Awards with the biggest smile. Dr Qwabe was the biggest winner of the day. He received the Best Established Teacher Award, which is awarded to seasoned academics who performed exceptionally in their teaching responsibilities.

Dr Qwabe expressed his gratitude to the university for recognising his teaching responsibilities. He also acknowledged Dr Manyane Makua, Acting DVC of Teaching and Learning’s efforts in championing the cause of teaching and learning. He added that the work that the teaching work that he was being recognised for could not have been possible without the support of his family.
