An MUT academic among the first to take COVID-19 jab

Professor Naidoo

As usual, Professor Logan Naidoo has once shown his leadership prowess by being one of the first South African citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The professor in the Department of Human Resources and Management said he decided to vaccinate because “it was the right thing to do. I also wanted to protect myself, my family and those around me.” Professor Naidoo took the Pfizer vaccine on 19 May 2021 at Moses Mabhida Stadium. He said he felt good. “No side effects. Had a slight headache but two painkillers quickly cured that,” Professor Naidoo said.

“My advice is for people to be responsible. Protect yourself, your family, and those around you.   As a responsible person you owe it to everyone to get the vaccine,” said Professor Naidoo.
