Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Marcus Ramogale congratulated learners on their matric results, which were released on Friday, 21 January.
Professor Ramogale said the recent matriculants showed resilience throughout the year and had the necessary discipline to continue with their studies under difficult circumstances. These learners experienced the COVID-19 lockdowns, which affected their mode of learning, and continue to excel in their exams. Professor Ramogale urged learners to make the right choices and invest in a good tertiary education that would allow them to contribute positively to society.
Meanwhile, MUT is finalising its selection of new students to study at the university in the 2022 academic calendar. Registration is set to commence from 14 – 25 February. Lectures are scheduled to begin on 28 February.
