MUT’s Acting Registrar, Mr Phumzile Masala has announced the results of the MUT Convocation. The former MUT President 2017/2018, Mr Sandile Dlamini, known as MaViews has been elected as President for the MUT Convocation and the Vice-President is Thokozani Hadebe. Hadebe was the Secretary General in the SRC of 2016/2017.
The Convocation Council nominees are Sandile Dlamini and Sanelisiwe Mnyandu, known as Siwe. Siwe will be remembered as the former Chairperson of the Young Women’s network (YWA). The additional members are Snothi Ndlovu, Sandile Mbonambi, Sanelisiwe Mnyandu and Dalinhlanhla Buthelezi.
Attendance to today’s MUT AGM was groundbreaking and Convocation encouraged everyone to spread the word about MUT alumni so that alumni could play a pivotal role in giving back to the University as well as becoming ambassadors for the University.
